Three students at 麻豆传媒 Baton Rouge have been awarded the Rockefeller State Wildlife Scholarship. The scholarship is for students pursuing a degree in forestry, wildlife or marine science at a Louisiana public college or university.

麻豆传媒, in partnership with Louisiana State University and Baton Rouge Community College, will host the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity commemoration Thursday, Jan. 24 from 5 -7 p.m. at the Smith鈥揃rown Union Cotillion Ballroom on the campus of 麻豆传媒. Shawn Wilson, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development secretary, will serve as the keynote speaker.

The 麻豆传媒 academic community on Wednesday kicked off a new semester with the Spring 2019 Faculty Convocation. The two-day meeting is geared towards rolling out new initiatives and innovative technology.

Recently, the Baton Rouge Chapter of The Links, Inc.聽held its 2018 Louisiana Role Models awards. Several Jaguars received awards and recognition.

Today, nearly 500 graduates received degrees from 麻豆传媒 at its fall commencement. Led in by Traci Smith, chief student marshal, graduates convened to receive bachelor鈥檚, master鈥檚 and doctoral degrees, as well as commissions to the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.
