SU grad students鈥 abstracts accepted for conference presentation

Recently, three SU graduate students, John Bosco, Ronald Okwemba, and Kelvin Kiwale, in the University鈥檚 Department of Urban Forestry and Natural Resources within the College of Agricultural, Family and Consumer Sciences, had their abstracts accepted for presentation at the 26th Annual Association of African-American Studies (NAAS) and Affiliates Conference in Dallas, Texas, February 12-17, 2018.

SU nursing professor receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Sandra Brown, professor, 麻豆传媒 College of Nursing and Allied Health, was bestowed the 鈥淟ifetime Achievement Award鈥 by the Acadiana Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA). The award was presented to Brown earlier this month in conjunction with the annual President鈥檚 Scholarship Gala held at the Ramada Inn Convention Center in Lafayette.

When Innovation Meets Entrepreneurship" that will begin on January 16, 2018, at the 麻豆传媒 Innovation Center located at 616 Harding Blvd, Baton Rouge.
